From January until 22nd of December 2025, 265 new converts have been recorded. According to the statistics from the Conversion Unit of the Islamic Da'wah Centre, Brunei Muara District recorded the highest number of new converts.
In Brunei Muara District, 139 individuals have converted to Islam, while Tutong District recorded 69 people, 37 in Belait District and 20 new converts in Temburong District.
In term of ethnicity, 75 individuals were from Dusun ethnic, followed by Iban with 61; 49 Chinese; 44 Filipinos; Other races, 21 people and 9 murut ethnic people. Three new converts from Bisaya ethnic group and three European.
The da'wah movement continues to be intensified through the propagation dissemination programmes. These efforts help increase the number of new converts in the country. Meanwhile, the conversion guidance course serves as a platform to produce quality new converts and strengthening their faith according to Islamic law.
